Business Administrator Job Description St Alfred's Anglican Church
St Alfred’s is an Anglican Church in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with around 500 members. At present there are two Sunday services at 10.00 am and 6.00 pm. People who attend value highly the strong biblical preaching and contemporary style of music. Sunday school groups (StAKs) run concurrently with the morning service and youth group on a Friday night. There are lots of groups and activities running during the week.

We are seeking a Business Administrator to assist St Alfred’s serve faithfully in day-to-day ministry by undertaking financial, human resources, information technology, document management and property tasks. The duties include:
- Financial Administration (essential)
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reimbursements, process income, payroll, authorisations, reporting
- Human Resource Line Management (essential)
- Staff leave administration, Workplace Health and Safety compliance
- Information Technology (desirable)
- Elvanto (Church Management Software) administration.
- Website administration – using Wordpress or similar
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise administration
- and other IT tasks
- Information and Document Management (essential)
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Document Management System in Microsoft 365; oversee hardcopy document management, storage, digitisation and archival.
- Property/facilities Management (in conjunction with property management volunteer group) (essential)
