CityLife Community Care (CLCC) is the community caring expression of CityLife Church Knox. It exists to connect our church with our local community, to support and empower people in need to thrive.

For over twenty years, CLCC has supported people in times of crisis, financial difficulties, isolation and distress. Through our volunteers and staff, we offer holistic services and empowering pathways for people to move forward in their lives and thrive. People are also encouraged to give back to the community and empower others to thrive.

CLCC is currently looking for a Fundraising and Partnership Team Leader. This role is ideal for an individual with exceptional people skills and fundraising capabilities to help cultivate and grow key relationships with individuals, business, and donors, whilst meeting annual fundraising targets and increasing revenue over time.

As a member of the CLCC’s leadership team, the Fundraising and Partnership Team Leader also works closely with other team leaders to develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the goals set for CLCC. It ensures the Fundraising and Partnership (FP) team aligns with the direction of CLCC.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a fundraising program that maximises donations and the supporter/partner experience.
  • Increase the CLCC fundraising and partnership profile through promotion, advertising, and networking both internally and externally.
  • Develop new partnerships with business, major donors, and community groups to expand the CLCC profile, impact, and influence.
  • Lead all aspects of the fundraising and partnership relationships and events in alignment with CLCC’s vision, mission, values, and direction, and adhering to CityLife and CLCC’s policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, supervise and support volunteer team members, facilitating a positive, empowering, and collaborative culture, including volunteer team supervision, debrief and provision of feedback.
  • Work with the CLCC Leadership Team and staff to assist in events or initiatives related to CLCC and CityLife Church, including community weekends, Christmas appeal, and other fundraising or marketing activities.

The successful applicant will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience, fundraising and leading a team/s to deliver fundraising events that meet budget requirements and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, set and implement priorities, manage multiple tasks, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to develop and maintain relationships with people from all levels of business and community.
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful planning and implementation of donor retention and acquisition strategies that meet budget requirements.
  • Excellent administration and computer skills.

To apply, please review the detailed Position Description here, and forward your resume and cover letter to Justine Fung at employment@citylife.church
