HR, Risk and Compliance Officer
Cooloola Christian College is a co-educational P-12 Christian School of approximately 500 students located in Gympie in the Greater Sunshine Coast area of Queensland.
The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Administration Team for the position of HR, Risk and Compliance Officer. The successful applicant will report to the Principal and will provide compliance and management support for the College.
Key requirements for the position include:
- Qualifications/Certificates in Human Resources, Business, Management or similar is preferable
- Relevant qualifications in WHS and risk management
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with sound knowledge of HR functions (recruitment and selection, contracts and remuneration, training and development, performance management and industrial laws)
- Knowledge of Risk Management principles and activities preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of appropriate policies, standards, codes of practices and safe work instructions, particularly those relevant to worker and student safety.
- A sense of purpose and pride in delivering work that benefits others
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the ethos of Christian Education and a willingness to promote and support Christian values. Applicants must comply with Child Protection (Blue Card) and other requirements for Non-Government Schools in Queensland.
It is desirable for candidates to have experience in HR, Compliance and risk management of independent schools.
