This is a combined role for a full-time candidate but could be separated into a part-time Fundraising role and part-time Communications role, depending on the candidate(s).

INF is seeking a creative and proactive Fundraiser and Communications Coordinator to join our team. You’ll play a crucial role in securing vital funding to support INF’s projects and vision. If you are a natural relationship-builder, creative thinker, and driven by purpose, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll help share INF’s story, engage diverse audiences, and support our mission through effective communication strategies across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities (individuals, corporates, grants, trusts)
  • Prepare compelling proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials
  • Organize and coordinate fundraising events and activities
  • Track, report, and analyse fundraising performance and donor engagement
  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant laws and ethical standards

Communications

  • Develop and implement communication plans to promote INF’s work and impact
  • Manage INF’s internal and external communications, including magazines, newsletters, press releases, website, and social media
  • Create engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for various platforms
  • Coordinate with project teams to gather stories, updates, and impact data
  • Support event promotion and fundraising campaigns with tailored communications
  • Maintain and grow INF’s brand presence and messaging consistency
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on communication efforts and audience engagement

About You:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, communications or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong storytelling and content creation abilities
  • Creative, resourceful, organised and results-oriented
  • Experience with donor databases and fundraising tools (desirable)
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media, and website management
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects
  • Passion for INF’s mission and values

Why Join INF?

  • Be part of a mission-driven team making a tangible difference
  • Opportunity to grow professionally and personally
  • Opportunity to travel to Nepal as part of the role
  • Supportive and values-based work environment

How to Apply:
Please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role to ceo@inf.org.au.

Applications officially close Friday 11th July, however INF will commence interviews before that date for the right candidate(s).
