Church Missionary Society – Australia (CMS Australia) is a fellowship of Christian people and churches committed to global mission. We work to set apart godly individuals as long-term cross-cultural gospel workers.
We are currently seeking a part-time Business Administration Officer to join our Mission Support Team. In this role, you will work closely with the International Director and the Operations Director, using your excellent organisational and administrative skills to support the day-to-day operations of CMS Australia.
The position is for a 2-year contract. Opportunity for permanent employment may be considered based on performance and organisational needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership
- Assist with business operations, HR, and finance-related tasks
- Coordinate meetings, manage documentation, and maintain records
- Support the smooth functioning of CMS-A’s mission support activities
About you:
- Strong commitment to the vision and values of CMS
- Qualifications and/or experience in business administration, HR, or finance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and independently
