Strategic Relationship Manager
Location: QLD | VIC | WA Full-time | Expand the movement that is sharing the Gospel behind bars
THE CHALLENGE
Right now in prisons across Australia, men and women are searching for hope. Families are fractured. Futures feel closed off. The justice system has spoken — but God hasn’t had the final word.
Behind those prison walls are people made in God’s image. And behind every locked door is an open heart, waiting to hear the Good News.
But they’ll only hear if someone tells them. And churches will only go if someone calls them.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Prison Fellowship is stepping into a new season of growth. We’ve received funding to expand — and we’re now hiring Strategic Relationship Managers in Queensland, Victoria, and Western Australia to help lead the charge.
This is a frontline role, calling churches to rise to their gospel potential. You’ll ignite relationships, stir generosity, open new doors for ministry, and help write the next chapter in this unfolding story of restoration.
You won’t just raise awareness. You’ll raise up labourers for the harvest.
THE MISSION
As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will:
- Champion the vision of Prison Fellowship in churches, networks, and events.
- Call God’s people to action — to serve, give, pray, and go.
- Grow our reach and impact through new partnerships and church engagement.
- Represent the ministry in churches, community groups, and donor circles.
- Be on the move — travelling throughout your state to build relationships and momentum.
Because of your work:
- A child will receive a Christmas gift from their parent in prison.
- A prisoner will hear about Jesus for the very first time.
- A church will discover their calling to the margins.
- A volunteer will find purpose in mentoring someone our world gave up on.
- A life will be changed. A family restored. A future rewritten.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A passionate communicator who loves the Church and believes in its potential.
- Someone with ministry experience and the courage to call others into Kingdom work.
- A natural relationship-builder with vision, resilience, and spiritual depth.
- A faithful follower of Jesus who’s ready for a new chapter of obedience and boldness.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Demonstrated experience in ministry, fundraising, church relations, or sales
- Outstanding public speaking and interpersonal skills
- A heart for restoration and a love for the local church
- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Alignment with Prison Fellowship’s Statement of Faith and mission
