Bendigo Baptist Church is a vibrant and diverse community, gathering across multiple locations throughout Bendigo in Regional Victoria. We function as one church in many places, with congregations and ministries serving a wide range of people.
We are currently seeking a Campus Pastor to lead our Junortoun Campus, our primary location in the eastern suburbs of Bendigo (including Strathfieldsaye).
This key pastoral leadership role involves:
- Fostering a disciple-making culture
- Equipping and empowering leaders and volunteers
- Innovating ministry opportunities for all generations
- Strengthening our local presence in the Junortoun and Strathfieldsaye communities.
- Partnering with the Senior Pastor and leadership team to shape the future direction of the campus
We're looking for someone who is:
- Theologically grounded and spiritually mature
- A visionary leader and empowering team builder
- Experienced in pastoral ministry with a deep love for the local church
- Passionate about reaching people of all ages, especially the next generation
- A collaborative communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Highly relational, with a servant’s heart
The Campus Pastor will also preach regularly, provide pastoral oversight to staff and ministry leaders, and play a strategic role in fulfilling the mission of Bendigo Baptist as we build a disciple-making culture in this region.
