Your opportunity 

You will provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, business planning, and day-to-day operational finance. This will include financial modelling, contributing to tenders, and coordinating and analysing monthly financial results, as well as supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, to help us impact more lives and advance the future of social services. 

With integrity and resilience, you will: 

  • Lead and support the Housing business unit by driving people-focused strategies. 
  • Build team capability, and enhance systems, processes, and practices. 
  • Provide high-level strategic and policy advice, produce timely reports, and contribute to key leadership forums. 
  • Partner with Housing leadership to support budgeting, strategy, and financial modelling that drive innovation and service outcomes. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support executive decisions through collaboration with corporate finance.  
  • Oversee financial reporting, KPIs, and insights to enable strong commercial decisions and performance improvement. 
  • Ensure budgets and forecasts align with divisional goals, providing leadership with clear analysis, models, and dashboards. 

What you’ll bring 

You’re a strategic and collaborative leader who drives high performance through strong mentorship, commercial acumen, and deep expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting. A big-picture thinker and trusted advisor, you communicate clearly, listen actively, and stay across finance trends and compliance. 

Ideally, you bring experience in the property or community housing sector, with a strong understanding of the operational and funding landscape. Known for your discretion, problem-solving, and customer focus, you lead with integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence. 

You will also need: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or similar 
  • CA or CPA qualified 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Senior Finance Roles 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Financial leadership qualities backed up by exceptional analytical and numerical skills
