Hardys Bay Community Church is a small, vibrant church in a relaxed friendly community on the NSW Central Coast, where locals love the area and the lifestyle.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate pastor to lead our church as we reach out and continue to serve our wonderful local community. This part time position will commence in early 2026, when our current pastor retires.
Our historic 100 year-old building is situated on the edge of the Bouddi National Park and is referred to as the “church by the bay”, given its beautiful, peaceful waterfront location. We are well respected, the only church in the area, and serving the community in a variety of ways. This is a welcoming place for all, bringing the message of hope found in Jesus.
We are affiliated with Churches of Christ NSW and ACT, and our church family members are from various denominational backgrounds. Many are involved in ministry during our one Sunday service at 9.30am, mid-week Bible studies, RE classes at our local primary school, and activities involving the wider community.
We are seeking a pastor with a reputation and practise of strong Bible teaching, who is led by the Holy Spirit, and able to lead, support and care for a prayerful, faithful and passionate group of disciples of Christ.

The beautiful Bouddi peninsula of Killcare, Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe is in a transition demographically. Traditionally a place for people to retire or own a holiday house, it is now a growing community with younger families moving into the area, reflected in the increased numbers at our local Primary School (K–6). This provides the opportunity for our church to engage with and support young families as well as the older people in our community.
Our vision is to continue to be the presence of God in our local community. We see ourselves becoming a church for all ages with creative ways of reaching people in the community and assisting them to live out God’s gospel.
