Do you have a heart for the country and for seeing lives transformed by the Gospel? Are you a leader who is collaborative, seeking to empower those around you? Do you love the idea of making camps impactful and safe, building partnerships, and getting creative with fundraising?

ESA Country Ministries (ESA) is seeking to appoint an experienced and consultative Program and Partnership Manager to help deliver on ESA’s vision to bring Gospel hope to country communities.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and develop ESA’s camping program and invest in deepening and strengthening our partnership with supporters and churches across the state.

You will work closely with the CEO on projects and new initiatives which align with ESA’s Strategic Plan. You will help us to grow disciples and servant-hearted leaders on our camps, and strengthen partnerships in prayer, giving and inviting our supporters to participate in what God is doing through ESA.

What You Will Do:

  • With a collaborative approach, lead and coordinate ESA’s camping program. Build pathways for emerging leaders, strengthen policies, and oversee risk management and child safety.
  • Oversee the planning of new camps and Gospel initiatives in consultation with our staff team and develop ESA’s outdoor adventure offerings.
  • Build trust and nurture strong relationships with supporters and churches, increasing partnership and engagement.
  • Work with staff and volunteers to develop and deliver creative approaches to fundraising and donor initiatives.
  • Establish a framework to improve our mentoring and training for camp leaders and volunteers.

What You Bring

  • A vibrant Christian faith and strong alignment with ESA’s Statement of Faith, mission and values.
  • Strong experience in senior leadership roles (ideally in an NFP or ministry setting).
  • A consultative and empowering leadership style which grows trust within teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee excellent camps and events and to plan new initiatives in response to emerging needs.
  • Strong relational capacity for building trust and partnership with ESA supporters and churches across the state.
  • Capacity for creative, big picture thinking, along with a great attention to detail.

Why ESA?

Since 1883, ESA has had a heart for both the Gospel and country communities. Working alongside local churches, ESA has shared Gospel hope in our communities, growing disciples and equipping them as servant-hearted leaders.

Joining ESA will bring you into a team that is passionate about the Gospel. Our values of Connection, Authenticity, Humility & Faith inform all we do and say.

How to Apply

If you sense your gifts, passion and experience align with ESA and this role, we would love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your cover letter and CV to Cath Berryman, cberryman@esa.org.au by 22 Sep 2025.
