Warragul Church of Christ - Senior Minister

Warragul Church of Christ is seeking a Senior Minister who will engage with strategic leadership and vision casting in partnership with the Leadership Team with a sense of pioneering for God’s Kingdom in this next season. (This is a Full-Time position)

We are looking for a leader who:

• Hs ability to inspire, lead with vision casting and inspiring leaders and others to live out God’s vision and mission
• Has capacity to lead and inspire a commitment to team building that grows leaders and builds on a culture of discipleship.
• Has a heart of pioneering new things in our community for the benefit of God’s Kingdom.

Warragul is located in the heart of the Baw Baw Shire in West Gippsland and is a major growth corridor within easy access to the city by road and rail. The Church of Christ is well-established and committed to actively express and live out God’s love in our community.

• Capacity to lead and inspire a commitment to team building that grows leaders.
• Pastoral heart – having deep concern, love and empathy for the congregation and wider community
• Skilled communicator with the abilities and passion for leadership, preaching, teaching, and discipleship.

Qualifications/ Experience/Requirements

• Previous experience as Senior Minister or another significant ministry role
• Maintain or obtain Accreditation and Endorsement with Churches of Christ Vic/Tas. (CCVT) including Compliance with Safe Places standards of Churches of Christ Vic/Tas (CCVT)
• Willing to live in the Warragul/Drouin district for accessibility and to engage with community

Remuneration

Renumeration package is in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment outlined in the Vic-Tas Churches of Christ. (CCVT)
