Church 4 Life is based in beautiful Lake Macquarie, NSW where we see God moving and miracles happening daily. Although we are a small, growing church we have been given a big vision and have a charity arm that serves over one million people in the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
We are looking for a Pastor to work part time “in the church” and part time in our charity. This is a unique opportunity to work in a church that is different.
Our charity has a wide range of people with a high turnover of volunteers coming to do Work For The Dole, Community Service, Work & Development Orders, Work Experience and general volunteering. As a team mate of our charity staff, you will meet Real People doing Real Life and help them connect to the Real God, build bridges between our charity and our church.
About The Job:
- This role reports to the Church 4 Life Board and works alongside the church and charity leadership teams to fulfil the Mission and Vision God has given to each department.

- Pastor our congregation, equipping and motivating them into their God-given calling evidenced by the Work of God

- Working with Church Leadership team to lead our church through Sunday Services and with the day to day running of the church.
- Connect with and encourage other pastors in our community, specifically Hunter Baptist Pastor network.
In the Charity
- The second part of your job will be working in our charity in one or more of the following roles - retail, driving, motorcyclist, warehousing, marketing, ecommerce, contact centre or administration – depending on your qualifications and positions vacant.
About You:
- You have a God given anointing for pastoral ministry.
- You are a pentecostal who is (or willing to become) an ordained pastor with the Baptist Union of NSW & ACT and follow their requirements for pastors.
- A sound understanding of the Bible and a daily relationship with Jesus Christ where you have proven experience hearing and obeying His voice.
- You are hardworking, have initiative, high energy and physically fit.
- Experience in building, pastoring and leading churches.
- Willing to work in our charity.
- Committed to live by the Values of our church and charity and to embrace our Visions and Missions.
- Pass Working With Children Check, Safe Places and Police Check.
