The Lakes Evangelical Church is a vibrant and growing gospel community on NSW’s Central Coast. With over 600 adults and 150 children, a team of 18 mainly part-time staff, and more than 400 active volunteers, we’re prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead us into our next chapter of ministry.
After 24 years of faithful leadership from our founding pastor, this is a unique opportunity to serve a united, mission-driven church with strong governance, healthy teams, and clear strategic direction.

To see a flood of disciples following Jesus — overflowing with His love, guided by God’s Word, and empowered by His Spirit so that everyone in our region has compelling reason to follow Him.
We’re looking for a Senior Pastor who will:
- Provide visionary leadership and pastoral oversight for a large and growing church family
- Lead and equip staff and volunteer teams with gospel-centred clarity and care
- Preach God’s Word faithfully and engagingly through expository teaching
- Partner with our Church Council to steward resources and sustain strategic growth
- Champion evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development across all ministries
You’ll bring:
- A proven track record of senior or significant pastoral leadership (5–7+ years)
- Deep love for Jesus and His church, grounded in reformed evangelical theology
- Strong preaching, communication, and team leadership skills
- FIEC alignment and theological qualifications
