The Leprosy Mission Australia is working towards Zero Leprosy transmission by 2035. Ending this disease is achievable with the right resources and this role is crucial to supporting their work in India, Nepal, Nigeria and Timor-Leste.
For over 100 years The Leprosy Mission Australia has partnered with Australians to ensure that people affected by leprosy across the world get the cure, care, and restoration they need to live life in all its fullness. We are part of a global network comprised of 30 Members, working together to assist some of the most outcast and vulnerable people in the world - those affected by Leprosy, disability and many other neglected tropical diseases.
Reporting to the Strategic Relationships Lead, the Major Gifts and Bequests Coordinator will play a pivotal role in expanding philanthropic partnerships and income across NSW, QLD, and the ACT. You will lead efforts to acquire new donors, nurture existing relationships, and proactively identify opportunities among non-traditional supporter bases. This position is central to strengthening The Leprosy Mission’s resources by cultivating major donors and growing the Bequests program. Your work will directly contribute to ending leprosy, empowering affected communities, and driving meaningful social change.
