PERTH ALLIANCE CHURCH (SOUTH) – ENGLISH CONGREGATION

(https://perthac.org.au | https://pacenglish.com.au)

ENGLISH PASTOR (FULL-TIME)

Our Church (PACS)

Perth Alliance Church (South) (PACS) is a multi-congregational church comprising Cantonese-, Mandarin-, and English-speaking congregations which belongs to the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia (https://www.cma.org.au). PACS currently has around 300 adult members and over 100 children and youth with a Pastoral Team of 4 Pastors, serving their respective congregations and jointly in the shared-ministry of PACS.

English Congregation (PACE)

The English congregation, Perth Alliance Church English (PACE), was established in 1998. PACE primarily comprises high school students, young adults, and families with young children. While members come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, the majority are ethnic Chinese. Currently, around 50 people gather each Sunday for worship, with nearly 50% being high school students.

The Mission of PACE is ‘Making, Equipping and Sending Disciples of Jesus’ and in addition to our regular Sunday Service, we also have:

  • ‘Logos Group’ during the Sunday Service (for our high school students)
  • ‘PACE Kids’ during the Sunday Service (for our younger children)
  • English ‘Youth Group’ on Friday nights (for our high school students)
  • ‘Connect Group/s’ on weeknights (for our adults)
  • Various Outreach ministries

After more than 20 years of faithful service, the current English Pastor of PACE, Rolf Van Wollingen, plans to retire at the end of 2026. We are prayerfully seeking for a suitable candidate to lead PACE into its next phase of growth.
