St Andrews Christian College is a Christ-centred, co-educational Prep–Year 12 College located in Wantirna South, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. The College aims to educate students so that they are well skilled, understand life on the basis of biblical truth, and are motivated to walk with God and serve Him in their lives, so that they will be a positive Christian influence in the world.
The College is seeking a Head of Learning and Teaching – Secondary who will lead the development and consistent implementation of high-quality teaching practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment to enhance student engagement and outcomes in the secondary school.
St Andrews Christian College is seeking a Head of Learning and Teaching - Secondary. The College welcomes applications from accomplished lead teachers and school leaders who are passionate about St Andrews Christian College’s mission and demonstrate skills and experience in:
- Leading curriculum initiatives and a dynamic team of teachers;
- Leading others in the implementation of teaching practices;
- Capacity to provide expert advice to teachers and curriculum leaders;
- Modelling excellent teaching principles and practices; and
- 21st Century pedagogies and research-based understanding of effective learning and teaching.
