About Belgrave Heights Convention
Belgrave Heights Convention holds a number of Christian Conventions / events each year to encourage believers in their faith journey through the teaching of God’s Word, through worship and fellowship with other Christians from across all denominations of the Christian church.
The role
This is a salaried position reporting to the Board of Directors. The CEO is responsible for working with the Board in shaping the strategic direction of the ministry and ensuring its commitment is shared through the organisation, which includes staff and volunteer committees working to achieve its objectives.
Your convictions will ensure that the organisation maintains its focus on Bible teaching ministry through a period when opportunities to assist other organisations through the provision of a range of facilities are being realised.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated their ability to work with a Board and volunteer committees; to have represented an organisation well; to have skills in overseeing the finances and governance of an organisation; including working with supporters to enable them to financially contribute to the organisation.
Other attributes include the ability to prioritise and plan ahead, and to relate and work well with people in the operation of Conventions / events, with volunteers, donors and staff. Representing the organisation and overseeing the marketing of the organisation’s Conventions and property are an integral part of the position. Involvement in your own local church and commitment to ministry are essential. Your commitment will include attendance at Convention events.

Location & facilities
The Convention site is located at Belgrave Heights in the Dandenong Ranges, 45kms east of Melbourne CBD. Our facilities are known as The Heights Conferences and Camps. A major property upgrade brings new opportunities for growth and expansion of the ministry. Facilities on the site include a 1640 seat auditorium, and accommodation for over 440 persons ranging from cabins to the Hope Centre.
