TREASURER
The Belgrave Heights Convention conducts several Bible teaching conventions each year at its property in the southern Dandenong Ranges, east of Melbourne. The Convention has completed a major property upgrade to support its ministry and seeks to utilise the potential of the new developments.
Commitment to the Belgrave Heights Convention Statement of Purpose, Belief and Practice is essential for all Board members.
The Treasurer of the Convention is able to bring their skills in financial matters to the Board to advance the ministry of the Convention. The Treasurer is supported by a bookkeeper, accounts payable and office staff. The Treasurer is also a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee that supports the Board.
The Treasurer brings together budgets, management accounts and statutory accounts and presents them to the Board. Together with the CEO, the Treasurer ensures that the various reporting obligations are met. As a member of the Board, the Treasurer is expected to contribute to all matters that come before the Board, but will take a leading role on Board’s financial responsibilities.
This is a voluntary Board position.
