About Operation Mobilisation (OM) Australia
At the heart of OM Australia is a group of people completely sold out for Jesus. We have received the good news of Jesus and believe everybody, in every country, should have the opportunity to hear the good news of God’s love for them, at least once….
OM Australia is part of the global OM International network. We work in 115+ countries, motivating and equipping people to share God’s love around the world. OM seeks to help plant and strengthen churches, especially in areas of the world where Christ is least known. OM is committed to providing holistic care for struggling communities. Aid and Relief such as food, shelter, education, health services and crisis response are important components of sharing God’s love. We have seen first-hand the life-saving impact of loving care provided to people fleeing war, conflict, persecution and natural disasters.
Role: CEO/National Director
- Position reports to the Board
- International travel will be required for OM International meetings and periodic field trips
- Remuneration is negotiable based on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a Godly, mature leader who is:
- Kingdom minded with a heart for missions.
- Wholeheartedly supportive of OM’s mission, values, and doctrinal statement.
- A strategic leader, who strives for progress.
- Full of enthusiasm and an eloquent storyteller with experience in financial development, public speaking, and partnership development.
Responsibilities include:
- Sharing OM’s vision to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers in places where the gospel is not yet known.
- Developing and implementing strategies to ensure OM can fulfil it purpose – to partner with Australian churches to see people and resources sent into world missions.
- Inspiring and leading the OM Australia team to grow in partnership innovation and effectiveness.
- Being a shaper of organisation culture and developing strategic direction.
- nsuring OM Australia meets compliance with all statutory and legislative reporting requirements.

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Previously managed a missions-based or Christian Charity NGO at a CEO or GM level.
- Passion for missions and outreach, and deep spiritual maturity.
- P&L and Balance Sheet understanding.
- Gifted networker with experience in developing financial partners.
- Team and stakeholder management expertise.
- Demonstrated change management capability.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinker.
