Counsellor/ Psychologist Position at Ashgrove Community Care (ACC)
Ashgrove Community Care (ACC), an outreach of Ashgrove Baptist Church (ABC), has been providing affordable in-person and online counselling for over 10 years.
Supported by a subsidy from ABC, our centre makes counselling accessible to individuals who may otherwise be unable to afford it.
Our purpose-built, private, and professional counselling centre offers modern consulting rooms, a comfortable waiting area, and full administrative support, with excellent access to public transport and parking.
In 2025, we have the capacity to expand our psychology services and are looking to grow our team to meet increasing demand.
If you are a practicing Christian with psychology or counselling qualifications and a passion for helping others, we invite you to consider joining us.
We are seeking a candidate with the following skills/willingness/competencies:
- Tertiary-qualified Counsellor or registered Psychologist: Candidates applying for the role of Psychologist will ideally be registered with Medicare to support clients with mental health care plans. Counsellors will need to be registered with a professional association or be eligible to be registered with one.
- Deliver high-quality therapeutic services within a practice framework.
- A practitioner who is passionate about reflective practice, who enjoys working collaboratively within a team and is also confident in working independently.
This is a fantastic opportunity to establish, consolidate, or grow your practice while working alongside like-minded professionals in a supportive environment.
