Are you an organised and proactive EA professional looking for a dynamic role in a supportive environment?  

Anglicare Sydney is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide efficient and effective administrative support to our Chief People and Customer Officer (CPCO) on a full-time, maximum term basis for 14 months. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and successful coordination of key projects within our People and Shared Services (PaS) team. 

 

Specific Accountabilities: 

Effective Communications: 

  • Ensure effective communication with the Chief Executive, Senior Executives, General Managers, People and Customer Leaders, visitors, and staff. 
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief People and Customer Officer. 

 

Key Business Projects and Deliverables: 

  • Coordinate and drive key business projects and deliverables for the Chief People and Customer Officer. 
  • Develop an organisational-wide approach to event and conference management, including creating key assets and providing practical support for identified events. 
  • Organise and coordinate key PaS team meetings, events, and offsites, ensuring smooth logistics, clear communication, and alignment with team goals. 
  • Manage catering and resources for team events. 
  • Support the annual budgeting process across the People and Shared Services team. 
  • Engage in appropriate decision-making to ensure resource allocation to cross-functional projects. 

General Administrative Tasks: 

  • Manage the diary for the Chief People and Customer Officer and, when required, other members of the People and Shared Services Leadership Team. 
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, drafting reports, photocopying, and scanning. 
  • Manage invoicing processes to ensure timely payment to external providers. 
  • Maintain relevant memberships and subscriptions for the Chief People and Customer Officer and the broader PaS Leadership Team. 
  • Prepare for meetings on behalf of the Chief People and Customer Officer. 

 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • Qualification in Business Administration preferred. 
  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior executive assistant role. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, including the Chief Executive, People and Customer Team, and Senior Executives. 
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office and web-based applications). 
  • Strong written and verbal skills. 
  • Ability to structure information and tasks.
  • Evaluation of problems and solutions.
  • High integrity and confidentiality.
