The Opportunity:
As one of the ministry’s Supporter Engagement Officers, you will be part of a Team whose primary purpose is to lead the Ministry’s supporter engagement activities and day-to-day donation processes. But more important than this will be your responsibility to be one of our front-line Ministry Ambassadors, as you will have direct contact with our amazing supporter and listener base.
You will serve as the primary contact for enquiries about our services and resources, which will require you to deliver first-class support.
This is more than just a job; it is a ministry opportunity for someone with a gift and calling in supporter engagement who is highly attentive to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely inbound and outbound communication via multiple platforms.
- Ensuring all incoming communications are responded to effectively and professionally.
- Connect with our customer and support base authentically and honestly.
- Assist with daily banking reconciliation, deposits and reporting.
- Processing of donations ethically and adhering to all cash handling requirements.
- Support the Ministry Team by providing office and supply management.
- Reception duties and activities.
- Assisting with food services as required.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supporter engagement/customer services role, preferably in a medium-sized and or Not-for-profit organisation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, accreditation or experience.
- Strong understanding of customer service etiquette and processes.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics, Office Suite, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to align with our organisation’s mission, values, and culture.
