We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant – Business Services to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to grow their career.

Your Responsibilities
As an integral member of our Business Services team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of individual income tax returns.
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and payroll tax returns.
- Attending and conducting client meetings, communicating via email and phone to gather information and resolve queries.
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of clients.
- Assisting with tax planning, research, business structuring and entity establishment.
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
This is an office-based position designed for a dedicated individual who is seeking long-term career development within a growing and respected practice.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of three years of professional experience, including public practice experience within the Australian taxation system.
- Completion of or near completion of the CA, CPA, or IPA program.
- Practical experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and ideally SuperMate.
- Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation, compliance requirements and ATO processes.
- Previous exposure to SMSF accounting and tax (preferred but not essential).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A tech-savvy mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
