A Christ-centred Gospel training organisation seeks a Christian Executive to lead in 2025 and beyond.
Over the last eight years, under God’s leading, this organisation has fostered a successful movement to increase Gospel sharing by Christians across the nation, helping pastors and congregations and the wider Christian Community through training to be more effective soul winners for Jesus. The impact of this movement has been profound with participating Christians reaching out effectively to many thousands of Australians with the Gospel of Christ.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Co-Founder/CEO and the Board, the General Manager will ensure that all the day-to-day operations of the parent organisation and its subsidiary are carried out and with a focus on ongoing growth of the ministry. Working with a small team of managers (part-time or voluntary), the General Manager will conduct business planning, project execution, finances, legal compliance, support for funding and contribute to the oversight of Gospel campaigns and initiatives. Initially this will be a part-time position suiting a highly experienced executive or senior Christian minister.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- A born again believer in Christ with an active Holy Spirit-led testimony and Christian way of life;
- A love for souls and a track record of sharing the Gospel;
- Compliance with and support for the Company’s spiritual and operational standards in its Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith;
- Capacity to work well with existing managers and a range of Christian believers who are volunteers and who carry out the core functions of the ministry;
- High level personal presentation and communication skills when representing the ministry to pastors, churches and the public; and
- Assist with Marketing and Fundraising in support of the CEO/Co-Founder.
