Lead Ethical and Strategic Commercial Growth in a National Christian Network

Christian Venues Association (CVA) is seeking a proactive and strategic leader to manage and grow the Christian Supply Chain and associated services. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your commercial acumen with your commitment to Christian mission and values.

About Us

Christian Venues Association (CVA) is a national member-based organisation supporting Christian venues that provide group accommodation, catering, and meeting spaces. We exist to strengthen Christian venues through advocacy, professional development, and strategic services that align with our faith-based values.

The Christian Supply Chain provides purchasing power, procurement support, and preferred supplier relationships to our member venues, enabling them to operate more effectively while staying true to their mission.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Manager, Christian Supply Chain will:

  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain and procurement initiatives
  • Oversee supplier partnerships, contract negotiation, and rebate programs
  • Manage and grow other associated CVA services
  • Lead supplier events including the annual Suppliers Expo
  • Engage closely with CVA member venues to ensure services meet evolving needs
  • Report regularly on performance to the Board and CEO
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards, aligned to CVA’s Christian ethos

About You

You are a committed Christian who is energised by the opportunity to serve others through strategic and ethical business practice. You bring:

  • Essential:
  • Demonstrated Christian faith and alignment with CVA’s theological framework
  • Strong experience in supply chain, procurement, or commercial operations
  • Leadership capability and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Commercial insight with the ability to execute strategic initiatives
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • High ethical standards and time management
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in the hospitality or not-for-profit sectors
  • Familiarity with Christian ministries and member-based organisations
  • Experience in procurement of group buying systems
