About the Role

Lead compassionate, resident-focused care in a vibrant retirement community.

As the Village Care Operations Manager at Anglicare’s Castle Hill site, you will lead and enhance our care services, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality, person-centred care.

You will lead with heart, fostering a culture of service excellence and inspiring your team to deliver compassionate and exceptional care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure compliance with aged care standards and continuously improve our services.

Key responsibilities

  • Resident-Centred Care: Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect, overseeing care forums and service quality. 
  • Clinical Excellence & Compliance: Partner with Registered Nurses, allied health professionals, and external agencies to deliver outstanding care while meeting aged care standards. 
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor, recruit, and manage an interdisciplinary care team, fostering a high-performance culture. 
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline care operations, resource allocation, and service delivery to optimise efficiency and meet key performance targets. 
  • Family & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate transparently with families and lead case conferences, ensuring trust and alignment in care planning. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in care delivery, policies, and processes, ensuring best practices are implemented. 

 

About you

You are a compassionate, strategic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused care. Your ability to engage stakeholders, lead teams, and drive operational excellence will ensure a thriving, supportive community for residents. 

  • Leadership & Influence: Strong experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative, values-driven culture. 
  • Clinical & Care Expertise: Deep understanding of aged care regulations, compliance, and evidence-based care practices. 
  • Operational Excellence: Ability to drive efficiency, optimise service delivery, and exceed care quality benchmarks. 
  • Strong Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communicator with the ability to build trust with residents, families, and care teams. 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field, with current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN). 
  • Proven experience leading care operations in aged care, healthcare, or a similar clinical setting. 
  • Experience in team leadership, workforce planning, and performance coaching. 
  • Familiarity with aged care regulations, compliance, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in care management systems (e.g., iCare) and technology-driven care solutions.
