Care Operations Manager – Senior Leadership Opportunity
Drive Excellence in Complex Aged Care Service Delivery

Shape the future of care for older Australians at one of NSW’s most respected retirement communities.

Anglicare is seeking a seasoned care leader to step into the pivotal role of Village Care Operations Manager at our Castle Hill site. This is more than an operational role—it’s an opportunity to shape and elevate care delivery in a large-scale, complex, and person-centred aged care environment.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team across residential and clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, coordinated, and compliant care that reflects the values and expectations of residents, families, and regulators alike. This role demands strong strategic oversight, a deep understanding of aged care operations, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the site’s leadership team, you will:

  • Lead complex care operations across residential and clinical services with a clear focus on strategic priorities and resident outcomes.
  • Drive operational performance, including resource management, workforce planning, and process efficiency.
  • Build and lead high-performing, interdisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with aged care standards and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder relationships, including residents, families, staff, and external providers, navigating challenges with empathy and clarity.
  • Champion a resident-first philosophy, driving innovation in service delivery and embedding dignity and compassion at every level.

About You

You are a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in aged care, community or home care, and a passion for improving the lives of older people. You bring:

  • Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams in a care or health setting, with demonstrated ability to lead through change and complexity.
  • Deep knowledge of aged care legislation, compliance, and clinical governance.
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of achieving strategic targets and operational KPIs.
  • Advanced communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a capacity to manage diverse stakeholder needs.
  • A leadership style that is compassionate, decisive, and grounded in person-centred care.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health Management, or related discipline.
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse (highly regarded, but not essential).
  • Substantial experience in operational leadership within aged care, retirement living, or health services.
  • Knowledge of care management systems (e.g., iCare) and confidence using technology to improve care quality and efficiency.

Why Anglicare?

  • Strategic impact: Lead in a high-profile role with the scale and scope to make a real difference.
  • Supportive environment: Work within a values-based organisation that recognises leadership excellence.
  • Career progression: Access to professional development, mentoring, and career pathways.
  • Exclusive benefits: Salary packaging, gym discounts, wellness programs, and more.
