Office Manager

Hope Connect is seeking an Office Manager

  • Part-time – 4 days per week (30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday)
  • Rewarding opportunity to support the strategic and daily operational needs of an experienced multidisciplinary welfare and support service.
  • SCHADS award level 3.
  • Based in Telopea

 

About us

Hope Connect is a not-for-profit organisation and a ministry of Epping Church of Christ, motivated by the love and compassion of Jesus for all people (www.hopeconnect.org.au). For over 50 years Hope Connect has been providing support to the local community and those who may be experiencing vulnerabilities. We are looking for a capable and mission aligned Office Manager to join us.

The organisation provides a variety of community welfare services to people in the communities of Telopea, and surrounding suburbs. The range of services includes  DCJ funded Family Support services, No Interest Loan Scheme, Material Aid and a Community Shed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

The office manager will be required to demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

  • Secondary education qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar not-for-profit, preferably Social Service sector
  • Knowledge and experience in office management
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher Office 365.
  • Basic IT skills or willing to learn.
  • Systems management.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Ability to welcome and assist people with complex needs
  • Current Criminal History Clearance and Working with Children Check.

 

 Desirable

  • Experience with CDS and DEX systems.
  • Experience with MYOB
