The Role
As Dean, you will lead the strategic direction, academic integrity, and operational management of the School of Behavioural Sciences. Reporting directly to the Executive Dean (CEO), you will be responsible for the overall wellbeing, management, and advancement of the school. This position encompasses both academic and managerial responsibilities, requiring the fulfilment of key administrative and leadership duties alongside academic contributions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and visionary leadership aligned with CHC’s Christian ethos.
- Oversee academic programs, faculty performance, student outcomes, and resource management.
- Lead course development, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
- Foster a culture of research, scholarship, and professional development.
- Teach at least one unit per semester in Behavioural Science.
- Develop enrolment growth strategies and enhance market engagement.
- Build strategic partnerships with academic, industry, and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to cross-college initiatives and governance.
About You
You are a mature Christian leader with a strong academic background in behavioural sciences, social work, counselling, or a related field. You bring:
- Proven leadership and management experience in a higher education setting.
- A commitment to integrating faith and learning.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
- A track record of teaching excellence and scholarly research.
- The ability to guide and mentor academic and administrative staff.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement in education.
Qualifications
- A doctoral (Level 10) qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Eligibility for professional membership in relevant associations (e.g., ACA, PACFA, AASW).
- Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and accreditation processes.
