Christian Heritage College (CHC) is seeking an organised, proactive, professional Administration Officer (AO) with a heart for service and a passion for supporting meaningful work to join our School of Social Sciences. About the Role:
As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school. Reporting to the Dean, you will collaborate closely with academic staff, sessional lecturers, and internal departments to ensure smooth administrative processes, effective communication, and a positive experience for students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for academic operations, including course coordination and practicum support.
- Manage student-related tasks such as scheduling, communication, and record-keeping.
- Prepare and edit reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and school events.
- Maintain and improve administrative systems and workflows.
- Consult with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support sessional staff with onboarding and documentation.
- Assist with course review, development, and accreditation processes.
- Provide technical support with tools such as Office 365, Moodle, Meshed, and NovaCore
About You
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative role (higher education administration preferred)
- Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Initiative-taking and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and respectful engagement with diverse communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with education-related software (training provided, as required)
- Relevant post-secondary qualification: bachelor-level qualification would be highly regarded.
