The Opportunity:
The Sponsorship Sales team at Hope is responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with sponsors who want to promote their services through our radio, digital and online platforms. Hope Media has an engaged listener base of approximately 400,000 listeners per week across Greater Sydney.
We are looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to lead to and motivate our local team to grow sales results while maintaining a focus on building great long term sponsor partnerships.
The role involves:
- Leading, training and accountability for a local team of Account Managers
- Achieving own sponsorship sales portfolio and growing team sales results
- Overseeing sponsor agreements and promotional campaign material
- Managing sponsor lists and ensuring excellent sponsor relationships
- Planning and attending events both during and outside normal business hours
- Working cooperatively with other departments to achieve mission outcomes

Is this you?
- You have demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- You have 5 years sales experience essential (with media sales experience desirable)
- You are able to effectively analyse sales data and write concise and effective reports
- You have a demonstrated ability to generate new business from cold calling
- You want to work in a Christian environment joining faith and vocation
- You're emotionally intelligent with outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- You thrive working in an environment that is target driven
- You have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and value building long-term relationships
