Help The Persecuted Limited is seeking a faith-filled, visionary leader to join our ministry as Director of Development and Communications at a pivotal moment in our journey.
About Us
Help The Persecuted exists to Rescue, Restore and Rebuild the lives of Christians suffering for their faith in regions hostile to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As part of the international Help The Persecuted (HTP) movement, we provide emergency evacuation, safe housing, medical care, trauma counselling, relocation assistance, and sustainable livelihoods — all grounded in pastoral care and discipleship delivered through trusted indigenous Field Ministry Teams.
Established in Australia in 2019, Help The Persecuted Limited is a registered Public Benevolent Institution with strong governance, financial accountability, and a growing base of committed supporters. As global persecution intensifies, so does the urgency of our calling.

- Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising and communications strategy
- Expanding digital fundraising and regular giving programs
- Engaging Christian media and representing the ministry publicly
- Identifying and cultivating major gift and church partnerships
- Serving as an ambassador for Help The Persecuted across Australia
As the ministry grows, there is opportunity to build and lead a small development team.

You will bring:
- A committed and active Christian faith
- Proven experience in fundraising and donor development (minimum five years)
- Fundraising, strong communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills
- Experience with digital fundraising and donor systems
- Integrity, initiative, and a collaborative spirit
Experience in Christian or faith-based organisations and familiarity with the Australian Christian media landscape will be highly regarded.
