Principal
Claremont College, Sydney
The Board of the Anglican Schools Corporation and the Claremont College Council seek to appoint our next Principal.
Established in 1882, Claremont College is a primary school with nearly 300 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6, located in Randwick in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We are known for offering our students a joyful learning environment, providing them with exceptional opportunities for growth, empowering them to achieve their academic potential, and nurturing confident young people with a strong sense of wellbeing.
Our exclusive focus on the primary years enables us to tailor all aspects of our students’ education to meet their specific developmental needs. Our remarkable staff have honed their co-teaching approach to best benefit primary age students.
We are immensely proud of our warm, vibrant and inclusive community. It speaks to the happy and healthy culture of the College and to the strong Christian values that underpin all we do.
Over the decades, we have continued to be bold, reviewing research and best practice, renewing and refining our approach to education. The College Council is keen to retain this spirit of innovation and excellence, being excited at the prospect of working with our next Principal on the development of our new strategic plan from 2027.
Our next Principal will lead a wonderful community of learners, sharing the message about what makes Claremont College distinctive beyond the school gates, connecting with the next generation of learners and their families, and bringing a Christian world view to their leadership.
