Help churches bring hope where money feels overwhelming

Money can be complicated. But when God’s people walk alongside those doing it tough, stories change - from isolation to connection, from despair to hope.

At CAP Australia, we partner with churches across the country to inspire and equip Christians to respond to financial struggle with the love of Jesus. We believe the local church is central to God’s mission - and this role exists to help churches live that out in practical, life-giving ways.

About the role

As a Church Partnership Manager, you’ll build new church partnerships and nurture deep, trusted relationships with existing partners. You’ll work closely with church leaders to understand their communities, support their vision, and help them engage meaningfully with CAP’s mission.

This is a highly relational role - part connector, part collaborator, part storyteller - helping churches create lasting impact in their local communities while advancing shared mission and purpose.

What you’ll be doing

  • Establishing new church partnerships aligned with CAP’s vision and mission
  • Strengthening and stewarding existing partnerships through trusted, values-based relationships
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver partnership goals and income targets
  • Presenting and speaking at churches, conferences and events to inspire engagement
  • Keeping partnership activity accurately recorded in our CRM
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and effectiveness of CAP’s church partnership model

About you

You’re someone who loves the Church and believes deeply in its role in bringing hope and dignity to people experiencing financial struggle. You’re relational, organised, and comfortable working towards clear outcomes, without losing sight of people.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience building partnerships, managing relationships or engaging stakeholders (ideally in a church, ministry, community or not-for-profit context)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with church leaders
  • Confidence presenting and speaking to groups, including church settings
  • Experience using a CRM or database to track relationships and progress
  • An organised, self-directed approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel to connect with church partners

Why join CAP?

  • Be part of a Christ-centred organisation making a tangible difference
  • Work alongside passionate people who care deeply about churches and communities
  • Flexible working arrangements and generous leave
  • A role where relationships, faith and impact genuinely intersect

If you’re passionate about partnering with churches and helping rewrite the story of financial struggle through the love of Jesus, we’d love to hear from you.
