Village Operations Manager

Transform lives, every single day

Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.

For more than 160 years, we’ve served people and communities through care, compassion and practical support. Today, we’re evolving again — introducing Anglicare’s new For Life service model at Warriewood Village, designed to create a seamless, elevated resident experience across accommodation, care, hospitality, spiritual support, community life and convenience services.

Our Warriewood community sits in the heart of the Northern Beaches, close to shops, hospital services, bushland and beaches. The village features modern apartments and villas, a welcoming café, gym, pool, gardens, library, community rooms and a vibrant social program.

As we begin this transformation, you’ll play a key role in shaping operations, service culture and customer experience in a flagship location.

Your opportunity

Full-Time, Warriewood Location

As Village Operations Manager, you will act as second in command to the Village General Manager leading daily operations, driving guest satisfaction and managing key department leaders to meet strategic and financial goals.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing food & beverage, resident services, facilities, asset management, gardens and day to day service delivery.

You will manage 3 dedicated teams; the Resident Services team, responsible for concierge and administration services, the Hospitality team, responsible for onsite food and beverage and events, and the Facilities and Grounds team, responsible for ensuring the village is well maintained and beautiful.

You will work closely with the other functional teams onsite including Care, Business and Pastoral Care to deliver a warm, connected and high-quality experience for residents and staff every day.

With care and professionalism, you will:

  • Drive a high performing hospitality culture across food, beverage and resident services
  • Oversee daily village operations, ensuring safety, presentation and excellent service
  • Lift F&B standards — menu quality, service delivery, commercial performance and experience
  • Uphold Anglicare’s asset management and maintenance processes with discipline and quality
  • Coach, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team with clarity and accountability
  • Strengthen resident engagement through clear communication and welcoming service touchpoints
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.
  • Optimise café and retail offerings to support financial sustainability and resident satisfaction
  • Lead continuous improvement using data, resident insights and operational metrics

What you’ll bring

You are a customer-service first operator with strong leadership presence and service intuition. You thrive in dynamic environments, elevate customer experience, lead by example to build a multi-disciplinary team culture and enjoy being visible, hands on and deeply resident focused.

You will have:

  • Strong hospitality leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of elevated service levels and customer expectations
  • Ability to lead operational standards in a high visibility, community-based environment.
  • Proven success delivering high quality food & beverage operations
  • A polished customer service philosophy and the ability to set (and raise) service standards.
  • Experience managing contracts, facilities, maintenance or asset related functions
  • Confidence operating without layers — comfortable being “the” operational lead on the ground
  • Strong communication, organisation and relationship building skills.
  • Experience coaching frontline teams in service excellence
  • Digital confidence and the ability to support others through change
  • NSW RSA + Licensee Competency (or ability to obtain)

Why Anglicare?

At Anglicare, you’ll find meaning and purpose every day while being supported by an organisation committed to your growth and wellbeing. Joining Warriewood during this transformation means shaping service excellence, enhancing resident experience and influencing the future of village operations.

You’ll also enjoy:

  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax
  • Additional meal & entertainment packaging up to $2,650
  • Ongoing training, leadership development and career progression
  • Access to Fitness Passport and 400+ retailer discounts
