Village Business Manager
Transform lives, every single day
Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.
For more than 160 years, we’ve served people and communities through care, compassion and practical support. Today, we’re evolving again — introducing Anglicare’s new For Life service model at Warriewood Brook Village. This model is designed to deliver a seamless, enriched resident experience across Accommodation & Facilities, Home & Clinical Care, Hospitality, Spiritual Care, Community & Activation, and Services & Conveniences.
Our Warriewood community sits in the heart of the Northern Beaches, close to shops, hospital services, bushland and beaches. The village features modern homes, vibrant community spaces, café areas, gardens, a pool, gym and a rich program of resident activities.
As we begin this transformation, you’ll play a central role in building the financial, administrative and operational foundations that enable an excellent resident experience every day.
Your opportunity
As Village Business Manager, you will lead the financial, administrative and business operations that support the village to run smoothly and sustainably. You’ll partner closely with the Village General Manager, Operations Manager, Care Operations Manager and support teams—bringing structure, insight and coordination to a dynamic, people‑focused environment.
With a focus on financial stewardship, strong systems, effective communication and proactive risk management, you’ll help ensure the For Life model is delivered consistently and confidently.
You will:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and workforce monitoring
- Ensure supplier invoices, financial transactions and resident billing are accurate and timely
- Track financial KPIs, identify trends and provide data‑driven recommendations
- Lead administrative processes to support smooth, reliable daily operations
- Produce accurate, actionable reporting for the Village Leadership Team
- Strengthen procurement and contract management practices in partnership with Support Teams
- Build collaborative relationships across the village and central functions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, staff and suppliers
- Maintain data integrity and system accuracy through strong coordination with support teams
- Support compliance, risk identification and mitigation strategies
- Promote a safe, respectful and values‑led workplace culture
What you’ll bring
You are analytical, organised and solutions‑focused — a natural problem solver who enjoys working with numbers as much as working with people. You thrive in a role that blends finance, administration, systems, communication and stakeholder engagement.
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field
- Experience in business management within a complex service environment
- Strong financial, analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and financial/administrative systems
- Excellent communication skills—clear, adaptable and professional
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience supporting or leading administrative teams
- Integrity, accountability and alignment with Anglicare’s mission and values
Ideally you’ll also bring:
- Experience in retirement living, aged care or healthcare
- A strong understanding of operational and financial drivers in resident‑focused settings
- Confidence managing contract, billing and procurement processes
