Regional Ambassador

Visit churches and Christian organisations across your region, share the stories of persecuted believers and encourage prayer, partnership, and subscriptions......

  • Part-Time | 22.5 hours per week

Voice of the Martyrs (Australia) is seeking a passionate, mission-hearted Christian to serve as a Regional Ambassador in NSW.

This role is ideal for someone who loves the Church, is confident in public speaking, and has a deep heart for persecuted Christians around the world.

We are particularly seeking someone based in the Central Coast or Newcastle region, though applicants from broader NSW will be considered.

About Voice of the Martyrs

Voice of the Martyrs (Australia) is a Christian ministry committed to raising awareness of persecuted Christians worldwide, learning from their faith and endurance, and leading others to pray and support them so they can continue spreading the Gospel in their nations.

As a Regional Ambassador, you will:

  • Visit churches and Christian organisations across your region
  • Share the stories of persecuted believers
  • Encourage prayer, partnership, and subscriptions
  • Build meaningful relationships with pastors and Christian leaders
  • Conduct weekly supporter phone calls (20–25 per week)
  • Pray with and encourage supporters
  • Assist in organising regional conferences and supporter events

If based in the Central Coast/Newcastle region:

  • You will primarily cover the Central Coast and areas north of there
  • You will work from a home/remote office (we will assist in setup)
  • You will visit our Penrith office regularly for training, prayer, and team coordination

This role includes Sunday church deputations (with weekday flexibility provided).

What We're Looking For

  • A mature and committed Christian with a heart for persecuted believers
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills
  • Confidence engaging with pastors and church leaders
  • Self-motivated and able to work remotely
  • Organised and comfortable managing a regional schedule
  • Willingness to travel within NSW
  • Alignment with the mission and values of Voice of the Martyrs

Work Structure

  • 22.5 hours per week (Part-Time)
  • The working week begins Sunday (to reflect church deputations)
  • Three core weekdays (typically Tuesday–Thursday, negotiable)
  • Sunday work may be balanced with weekday flexibility

Daily team devotions are held via Zoom at 10:00am (Sydney time) and form an important part of team connection, prayer, and ministry alignment.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
  • $7,000 per annum Car Allowance
  • Remote office support (if applicable)
  • Ongoing ministry training and development
  • Opportunity to participate in international field trips (as required)

This is more than a job — it is a ministry calling.

If you have a heart to strengthen the Australian Church by sharing the faith and courage of persecuted believers, we would love to hear from you.

Please include a cover letter outlining:
* Your personal Christian testimony
* Why you are interested in serving persecuted Christians
* Your experience in public speaking or church engagement
* Your current church involvement

Please email either or both (better):

Noah Roet (CEO) - nroet@vom.com.au
Paul Paduhilao (Ambassador Manager) - ppaduhilao@vom.com.au

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to provide a short sample devotional or presentation outline.
