THE POSITION

Hillcrest Christian College is seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Leader to guide and strengthen the Mission of the College through visible and meaningful symbolic and cultural expression.

As part of the College Executive team, the Head of Culture and Wellbeing will lead the Christian culture of the College through collaboratively aligning the Heads of Community and Deputy Heads in the areas of Pastoral Care, Missions and Service, Social and Emotional Wellbeing and relevant Community Partnerships.  The role plays a key part in building strong partnerships with families and shaping a culture of Excellence, care and continuous improvement grounded in faith.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with current QCT registration, demonstrated educational leadership experience, strong relational capability and a passion for Christian education.


ROLE ALIGNMENT

The successful applicant would demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to the College’s Vision, Mission and Values
  • A passion for Christian education and working within a Christ-centred community
  • Proven educational leadership capability with the ability to lead, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relational and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic partnerships with students, families and colleagues
  • Strategic thinking, initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Relevant qualification and experience as outlined in the Employment Pack
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
